Step 6: Obtain Permits
If your property requires any construction, repair, alteration, demolition, or addition to the structure, you must be granted a Building Permit by the Department of Licenses and Inspection before beginning work. If your property requires electrical or plumbing work, you must obtain an Electrical Permit or Plumbing Permit.
